Dr. Vanderslice
Dr. Vanderslice is a 1998 Graduate of Life University, and currently serves there as a Faculty Clinician / Assistant Professor. He is in private practice at The Chiropractic Center of Marietta, where his practice focus is on family wellness care.
Dr. Vanderslice's philosophy on chiropractic is this:
Chiropractic is a natural approach that does not use drugs or surgery. It is not based on curing symptoms but rather on maintaining wellness and vitality by adjusting fixated joints to allow a clear signal of communication between the body and the brain resulting in a balanced nervous system.
Dr. Vanderslice uses manual adjusting techniques as well as instrumental techniques to provide care. He is certified with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, Breech (In Utero Constraint) technique and Chiropractic Biophysics technique. Dr. Vanderslice has also completed 120 hours of course work in extremity care and is proficient with keeping the athlete active no matter the age.
Outside the office, Dr. Vanderslice loves Christian Jazz, Starbucks' Espresso Roast, and lots of downtime with his family. He spends time weekly volunteering with a local Boy Scout Troop 277 as an Assistant Scout Master and Committee Member as well as the Training Coordinator for the Troop, and also he volunteers as the Adviser for the Full Spine Club on Life University Campus every week.
